Project Overview
The Digital Lab is currently conducting discovery to explore how the Department can leverage AI-powered solutions to automate the process for writing travel alerts. The LAB team worked with AI subject matter experts and country officers at Posts to identify key requirements and examine the current workflow, roles, and roadblocks from an end-user perspective.
The goal of the AI Generated Travel Alerts project is to decrease the amount of human time spent on manually drafting travel alerts and streamline the process to ensure alerts comply with language, template, and formatting requirements.
Following the discovery phase, the Digital Lab team plans to conduct a pilot with end users to test the effectiveness of an AI-powered solution for travel alerts.
