About this event

The Innovation Meetup is an interactive and lighthearted gathering of aspiring and inspiring innovators, creators, designers, builders, and dreamers who meet quarterly to be a part of the growing innovation and human-centered design community of interest at the department.

Topics and agendas will vary from event to event, and every meetup is an opportunity to learn from one another, share our experiences, and hear from experts and practitioners from in and outside of government.

Whether you’re looking for tools, know-how, or just a little moral support, our goal is to provide a fun, safe space where you can recharge your batteries!

Welcome	GPA Digital LAB’s vision for the new Meetup series
Activity	What is innovation? An interactive discussion of the most innovative products and services we use and love. Please come prepared to share!
Inno Spotlight	Erica Jaume, OBO Technology Accelerator Program (TAP) will tell us about how she and her team bring innovation to Department-owned buildings and facilities around the globe. Laura Fortner, GPA/EX will share her story about building a culture around customer experience in GPA.
Community Sharing (time permitting)	We open up the floor to give everyone the chance to talk about anything at all related to innovation – the joys, the pains, the wins, the frustrations, the possibilities – at the Department or elsewhere.
